Just a reminder about the Child of the Day program. . .
Parents please remember that you need to sign up for a date for your child to be the "Child of the Day." Once I hear back from everyone I will send it home with your child in his/her home-folder. In-the-meantime, please remember to work on a poster to share with the class. We will need snacks for 20 children, PLEASE REMEMBER WE ARE A PEANUT FREE CLASSROOM!
If you need to reschedule your date or time please feel free to contact me--the important thing is for every child to have someone special with them for their presentation!

- I am a first year teacher at Southview Elementary. I am so excited to be here and I hope that we can make this year great! I graduated from Black Hills State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and K-12 Special Education. I also have a minor in Early Childhood Development. Outside of school, I am busy with my two young children. I plan to use this blog to update parents about what we are doing in the classroom as well as to notify you about future happenings.
